For decades, the best trading technology was built for the biggest players, with big budgets and big teams. Syphonix, backed by a USD 100 million Series A, is building it for everyone else.

Its AI-native trading platform combines ultra-low-latency execution with AI agents that help run the desk, from pricing and hedging to risk. The aim is to give every desk institutional trading performance, without institutional overhead.

Speed, Without the Build

Syphonix fills trade orders in about five milliseconds. Each price update is processed in a few millionths of a second, and the pricing engine has been stress-tested at 10x its busiest moment. The company currently offers 2,500+ configurations to let firms shape pricing, routing, hedging and risk without custom development. It also works with systems already in common use, including MT5 and standard FIX 4.4 connections.

Agents That Run the Desk

Syphonix runs AI around its trading core. Its AI agents analyze trading activity, adjust strategy within set limits, monitor risk and respond to operational events. With 45+ MCP operational tools and 153+ AI skills, a small firm can operate with the reach of a full trading desk.

“Everyone is asking what the best AI for trading is,” said Sean Yang, Chief Architect at Syphonix. “It is not simply the most powerful model from OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. It is the system that connects intelligence directly to price and gets better with every trade. Our vision is to give smaller firms the same class of technology as the world’s leading trading houses, with agents doing the heavy lifting and people still making the call.”

Open standards such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP) make AI easier to integrate, Yang added. “The real breakthrough comes when agents move beyond analysis and take part in day-to-day trading operations.”

A New Economics of Trading

Syphonix sees the industry entering an era of agentic trading, where AI takes on more operational decisions within clear risk limits. For smaller brokers and specialist firms, that could change what it costs to compete.

The company raised its USD 100 million Series A in February 2026. The capital will strengthen its trading infrastructure, expand its AI capabilities and bring agentic trading to more of the market.
